Membership is open to anyone who makes an annual donation*, shares the Friends of Seattle vision for the city, and supports our policy goals.

* We want all of our supporters to become members, so any amount is welcome. We accept contributions from individuals only please, not corporations, unions, or other organizations. We are incorporated as a nonprofit political advocacy organization. CONTRIBUTIONS TO FRIENDS OF SEATTLE ARE NOT TAX DEDUCTIBLE.

Join the other forward-thinking Seattleites who are represented by Friends of Seattle in the policy debates about transportation, housing, parks, and other issues that impact the livability and sustainability of Seattle. Periodic email newsletters to our members include relevant news, event calendars, updates on legislation, and happenings in the Friends of Seattle organization. Email alerts notify members when to lobby their elected officials or contact the media. We organize events for our members to meet other members, learn about the city, learn about policy issues, and meet candidates we endorse. In addition, interested Friends of Seattle members have the opportunity to join our all-volunteer staff.

We rely on the financial support of our members to build savings to help us grow and to cover the operating expenses that allow us to advocate for our progressive urban agenda.

Thank you in advance for becoming a part of the Friends of Seattle membership.
